Let's Talk About The D-Word

"Let's Talk about the D-Word" - A conversation most people avoid.

This is a guided, thoughtful workshop designed to open the door to conversations about death, dying and preparation in a way that feels collaborative, approachable and deeply human.

Together, we'll gently explore:

-Why we avoid talking about death

-What can happen when we don't prepare

-How to begin meaningful conversations with loved ones

-The role of support, planning and presence at end of life

This isn't about having all the answers. It's about creating space to ask the questions.

  1. End-of-Life Love Notes

    A gentle, self-reflective exercise about what we love about ourselves, the lives we have lived, and the people we have loved. Participants explore how End-of-Life Love Notes can help ensure that important words of love and gratitude are not left unsaid or unwritten.

  2. Your Life, Your Wishes, Your Plans

    This informative workshop explores how the setting in which we die can effect comfort, quality of life and the family experience. Participants compare home and hospital settings, consider what matters most to them, and learn how planning ahead can help their wishes be understood before a crisis occurs.

  3. The Role of A Death Doula

    informative workshop explaining what a death doula does and how non-medical support can complement hospice. participants learn how doulas can provide bedside presence, emotional support, practical guidance and reassurance for both the dying person and their family and why this matters at end of life.

  4. Serving Our Senior Population - I want to hear your voice.

    These workshops are designed for Senior Community Groups, Senior Living Communities, Hospice Companies, Caregivers and Families, Professional or networking groups.
